        1.  What are the normal matriculation requirements for entry into the Nevis Sixth Form?

        The normal matriculation requirements for first-year entry into the Nevis Sixth Form College are as follows:

        • A minimum of five (5) subject passes at CXC General Proficiency (i.e. Grades I, II, III or equivalent) at one (1) sitting including English A.

        OR

        • A minimum of six (6) subject passes at CXC General Proficiency (i.e. Grades I, II, III or equivalent) at two or more sittings including English A.

        3.  How many units must I register for to be considered as a full-time student?

        To be considered for entry as a full-time student, you must select at least THREE CAPE Units from the existing elective grouping.  Please note that you must have at least a GRADE II in TWO of the subjects offered.

         

        4.  How do I choose my Subjects?

        Caribbean Studies and Communication Studies are compulsory courses that must be attempted over the two years period and for the CAPE Diploma Certification.  In addition to these two units, Integrated Mathematics is compulsory for the Associated Degree certification.

        Your other subjects are chosen from the groupings below.  You can not choose more than one subject from a grouping.
